Starts for 2025!

Our plant starts are all raised from Organic or Non-GMO seeds, and seeded right here at Moon River Ranch!

Currently, we have tomato and pepper starts, with more to come!

Our tomato plants are potted in 6-inch pots and range from 6-18" in height. Our pepper plants are in 4-inch pots and are about 6 inches in height.  We also have some that are in rockwool cubes, which are our preferred medium for hydroponics.  They will be just as good in soil, but are leftovers from our tomato and pepper tunnel!

We are offering local pickup at the farm this year, every Wednesday and Saturday in May, from 10-1. (No pick-up on 5/14).  If you place your order online, we will set your starts aside for pickup.  Without an order we cannot guarantee that the varieties you want are available.

  • WE PLANT YOUR SEEDS

    Depending on your pick up date/seed type, we will plant your seeds accordingly

  • WE GROW YOUR PLANT

    Your starts will be nurtured in our greenhouse and potted up as needed

  • YOU PICK UP YOUR GREENHOUSE GROWN PLANT START

    In early April/May (for greenhouse plants) or early June (for outdoor grown plants) come pick up your plant start!

Pricing

Plant start costs will depend on several variables. We will consider the cost of seed (if we are purchasing them), time in the greenhouse, and space and effort needed to grow your plant. Most starts will be between $5-$15
