Frequently Asked Questions

What is a CSA?

CSA, or community supported agriculture,  is a program in which individuals purchase a share in their community farm. In exchange for investing in the farm, they receive a bountiful selection of fresh produce every week throughout the season. Shares are purchased before the start of the growing season, when costs are high. Payments go toward seeds, soil, trays, pots, irrigation equipment, fertilizers and nutrients, and other materials needed to grow the highest quality produce possible.  CSAs are an excellent way to build a relationship with your local farm, to know where you food is coming from, and to support your local economy.

How do I sign up?

Head to our “shop” page.  Decide whether you want a small or large share (see descriptions) and add it to your cart.  Don’t forget to select your pick-up location (Drummond, Anaconda, Philipsburg). We will reach out through email and social media as the season nears to confirm more information about your specific pick-up location.

Where do I pick up my CSA share?

This is based on what location you select upon ordering your share.  Each location has a different time/day for pick-ups.

2025 Pick-up Schedule

  • Drummond - Wednesdays 4-7 outside Canyon Bar
  • Philipsburg - Sundays 11-4 at the Pocket Park next to The Sweet Palace

When do I pick up my first box?

CSA pick-ups normally begin early-mid June and will continue through mid-late October.

What will come in my box?

While trying our best to provide a variety of vegetables, your box will almost always contain a head lettuce, a salad mix, a root crop (etc. onions, radishes) and a featured herb.  Along with those staples, other items could include peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, kale, swiss chard, spinach, broccoli and cauliflower.
